The City of Turin, leader of the TOO(L)SMART project in collaboration with the University of Messina and CSP, research body on the application of ICT technologies hired by the City of Turin to provide technical support in the implementation of the good practice, organize a webinar to spread knowledge on the TOO(L)SMART project.
The webinar, scheduled on Monday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 12, is open to the participation of all PA interested in deepening the good practice, in order to stimulate and facilitate its reuse.
During the webinar will be presented the integrated infrastructure for widespread environmental monitoring realised within the project thanks to the Internet of Things paradigm, in order to create a system of data collection and use, that strengthens the ability of local authorities to respond to the increasingly complex problems inherent the urban dimension and that, at the same time, generates opportunities for innovation and economic development.
The technical aspects (both hardware and software) of the infrastructure, based on cloud computing and open software and hardware for the implementation of sensor networks and digital services, will be analysed, and then will be reported the case of use of the City of Turin, examining all the elements useful for the reuse of good practice, whether technical, training, administrative, organisational.
