On February 6, 2022, the class of 9 finalist companies of the SmartLife Call4Testing launched by the City of Turin as part of CTE NEXT House of Emerging Technologies in Turin was officially announced.
An evaluation committee formed by experts from the City of Turin and the scientific partners of CTE NEXT has screened the 27 proposals received, selecting 9 companies that will test their innovative solution, enabled by 5G, on the city territory in the coming months.
The selected companies are Italian but not all from Piedmont and belong to a wide range of sectors: Culture and Tourism, Security, Innovative Urban Services (also enabled by drones), Energy, Autonomous and Connected Mobility and Industry 4.0.
Here are the 9 companies:
CTE NEXT, opened in July 2021, grafts onto Torino City Lab, by expanding its purposes towards startup acceleration and technology transfer in emerging technologies enabled by 5G in verticals of interest to Torino, such as: Land and air mobility, Industry 4.0 and Smart City.
