The final event of the WWW Without-Walls-Web project was held at the end of the school year, when participating classes met virtually to communicate and share their concrete actions on each of the adopted 7 Sustainable Development Goals.

The Without-Walls-Web project was developed during the 2021/2022 School Year by ITER's Sustainable City Lab and the Fondazione per la Scuola, an initiative born out of a common desire to support and enhance the Compagnia di San Paolo's Riconnessioni project and the Educational Living Lab.

The project involved 12 primary and secondary schools in an educational, didactic and cultural process developed both in presence and at a distance on some UN Goals of Agenda 2030:

  • Quality Education,
  • Gender equality,
  • Clean and accessible energy,
  • Sustainable Cities and Communities,
  • Responsible consumption and production,
  • Fighting climate change.

Two classes were matched to each Goal, and each class was provided with a technology kit to participate remotely in a collaborative format.

The awareness-raising course on Agenda 2030 issues designed together with the children produced concrete actions to be applied in life: social communication campaigns, science experiments, play and knowledge activities aimed not only at students in the participating classes but at all school communities involved.

The technical and scientific coordination of the project was carried out by the Laboratorio Città Sostenibile in partnership with the Innovation and European Funds Division of the City of Turin, the Fondazione per la Scuola and the University of Turin.
