The project aims to implement a drone transport system for lab samples between health facilities, together with a platform, Pantheon, that sends critical parameters in real time (e.g. temperature, pressure, transport time..). This innovation can open the path to new transport and communication systems between health facilities, making the diagnosis process more efficient.
The Amedeo di Savoia hospital, close to the DORALab drones testing area, will serve as a hub; the drones will transport lab samples from nearby residential area, thus allowing to experiment, in an urban context and exploiting the characteristics of high bandwidth capacity offered, a faster, more effective and eco-friendly diagnostic service.
