The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park), an initiative of the American University of Sharjah Enterprises (AUSE), has expressed its commitment towards positioning itself as a premier research and innovation hub in the UAE.

Established in 2016 by royal decree of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the UAE, and Ruler of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, SRTI Park aims to develop and manage an innovation ecosystem within a free zone that promotes Research and Development and supports enterprise activities and the triple helix collaboration of industry, government, and academia.


To be the leading open innovation and R&D hub in the region.

- The intention to start a partnership within the Torino City Lab project, in order to contribute, together with the network of similarly associated partners, to the creation of a territorial ecosystem favourable to urban innovation with a fcous on technologies and services on smart cities
- Contribute to technological foresight activities, also promoting joint testing activities with local industry and academic partners on frontier innovations
- Give easy and facilitated access to the UAE region to emerging tech/startups from Torino City Lab Ecosystem, that are alligned within the 6 focus areas of Sharjah RTI Park, that want to expand to the UAE region, by setting up in SRTI Park Free Zone

- Has office space that caters for all sizes of businesses from start-ups, to SMEs and multinationals
- Lab facilities dedicated to material labs, tech labs and chemical labs
- Developers can lease lands to develop their own projects that add to the ecosystem
- Innovation centers can be established as joint ventures with SRTI Park authority as needed
