The object of the experimentation is the analysis of requirements and procedures for the insertion of remotely piloted systems able to carry a significant load operating in urban airspace for the delivery of goods.
The project will also focus attention on some issues related to the definition of the benefits that a service of Urban Air Delivery (UAD) based on drones can provide to citizens both in emergency and in everyday life.
Particular importance in the project will have the activity of joint analysis with the City, to identify an urban airspace compatible with experimentation and close collaboration with the National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC); with the latter will be deepened the safety aspects that will allow the definition of legislation to regulate an extensive use of this category of remotely piloted systems for the provision of sustainable and effective cost services for the benefit of citizenship.
